The event was co-sposnored by Ministry of Commerce, People's Daily, China General Chamber of Commerce, USA, and the Chinese Cultural Foundation.

More than 400 distinguished international investment bankers, Chinese government officials and business leaders participated this important two day event.

The Chinese Cultural Foundation hosted a special panel during the China-US Business Forum, for a discussion with leading business entrepreneurs of the importance of culture in business development and social understanding.

The Chinese Cultural Foundation has been asked on many occasions to provide cultural element to a business conferences including the World Economic Forum, China Business Summit.

Professor Robert A. Mundell, Nobel Laureate in Economics, Advisor of the Chinese Cultural Foundation has been highly regarded as the "Father of Euro" and "Friend of RMB" delivered a keynote speech on Flotation of RMB Exchange Rate and China-US Business Relations.

Elizabeth B. Wang, President of the Chinese Cultural Foundation co-hosted a special Panel with He Weiwen, Secretary General of China-US Business Forum on "China in the Eyes of International Investment Bankers - Investment Environment and Culture". Robert Blohm, Lauretta Bruno, Harry Edelson, Harlan Sugerman and Daxi Li, Chairman of the Chinese Association for Science & Business leaded the Panel discussion.

Ambassador Zhang Wei Chao, Former Vice Minister, Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council, Former Consul General in New York, Chairman of the Chinese Language Education Foundation, PRC China and Advisor of the Chinese Cultural Foundation. He shared his strong belief and support to the mission of the Chinese Cultural Foundation and to the importance of art and culture in business and in social development.
