GALA DINNER  - "RARE BIRDS OF CHINA"

A milestone event was held tonight at the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square with a live performance of classical Chinese musicians. The centerpiece of the evening was the exhibition of the "Rare Birds of China" collection accompanied by an exclusive NHK screening of the 32 individual birds. The event highlighted China's cultural, environmental and conservation programs.

The Chinese Cultural Foundation made presentations to several honored guests in recognition of their contributions and leadership of Chinese cultural, environmental and conservation efforts.

Leaders from Chinese government, City of Beijing and Chinese cultural and environmental institutions joined with leaders from the World Economic Forum, the Chinese Cultural Foundation, CITIC Industrial Bank and Anda Resorts, together with 300 distinguished guests attended.
