John W. Allen  約翰. 阿伦先生 Chairman & CEO of Greater China Corporation.  Involved in Asia and China for over 30 years.  Helped to found AIESEC in China and was Chairman of the Board of AIESEC, US and of AIESEC Yale.  Headed the international investment subsidiary of the Bank of Boston and was Assistant to James D. Wolfensohn (former head of the World Bank) at Schroder Bank and Trust. Served as President of the International Securities Exchange Corportion.  Was Trustee of the Soros Open Society Institute and one of three Trustees of the International Science Foundation along with George Soros and Nobel Laureate James Watson.  Received his BA from Yale University and MBA from Harvard Business School.

 

 


 

Ta Chun Hsu 徐大春先生 former President of The Starr Foundation, was born in Beijing, China in 1918. He attended the University of Shanghai and was graduated with a B.S. in economics (Class of 1942) from Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania. He earned his Masters Degree at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1944, and later studied insurance at Golden Gate College in San Francisco, California. In 1964, Mr. Hsu joined C.V. Starr & Co. as Assistant to the late Cornelius Vander Starr, at that time Chairman of the Board. He was elected Director and Executive Vice President of The Starr Foundation. In 1969 he was named President of the Starr Foundation and served in that capacity until March 1999.


 

 

Elizabeth B. Wang  王滨女士 Founder of the Chinese Cultural Foundation, the Elizabeth Wang Gallery and most recently, the Greater China Art Fund.  Has organized major cultural events at the Palace of Versailles in Paris, the World Economic Forum and China-U.S. Business Summits in Beijing, the Asia Capital Forum in Dongguan, the Institutional Investor - China Investment Forum in New York City and on numerous occasions at the United Nations, Bank of China, National Arts Club and other important venues.  Maintains close relationships with Chinese and American political, business and cultural leaders and organizations.  She was China's National Classical Dance Champion and earned her Masters Degree in Arts Administration from the City University of London.

Ambassador Chen Jian 陈健大使 Former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Japan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations.


Xiaoyu Guo 郭笑宇先生 General Manager of Beijing Longyu Petroleum & Chemicals Co. Ltd. Chairman of Longyu's holding companies in Chongqing, Heilongjiang, Dalian, Xinjiang. Honorary President of China Association of Poverty Alleviation and Development.  Renowned as a "Scholar" Entrepreneur.


Xinle Ma 马欣乐先生 is a Senior Art Advisor of the Chinese Cultural Foundation.  As a highly esteemed artist, Xinle Ma's paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the world and are sought by both institutions and private collections including former U.S. President William Clinton and China's Premier Wen Jiabao. As a recognized spokesperson for the arts, Xinle Ma is often featured on TV and in the press in China.


Amassador Shengyun Qiu  邱胜云大使 Former Ambassador and Consul General in New York, Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Jordan. Vice President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA).

 

Xiandong Wang  王庠栋先生 Chairman of Asia Pacific Foundation of Nuwa, Secretary-General of China Committee of the Global Business Coalition on HTV/AIDS.

Ambassador Weichao Zhang 张伟超大使 Chairman of Fortune 100 Association, former Chairman of Chinese Language Education Foundation, Former Vice Minister, Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council, Former Ambassador and Consul General of PRC China in New York.


Ambassador Yishan  Zhang 张义山大使 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations.  Held many important positions in the Chinese government including: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, and Vienna Austria; and the United Nations   Industrial Development Organization and International Atomic Energy Agency.

David M. Lampton  蓝普顿先生 Former President of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, George and Sadie Hyman Professor of China Studies at Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Director of China Studies at SAIS.

Xiaojing Li  黎晓静先 General Manager of Bank of China, U.S.A., President of China General Chamber of Commerce-U.S.A.

Ambassador James R. Lilley 李洁明大使 Former U.S. Ambassador to China and Korea, is widely considered one of the most knowledgeable US experts on Chinese and East Asian foreign relations.  Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.  

Robert A. Mundell  蒙代尔教授 Nobel Prize Laureate and Professor of Economics at Columbia University.  "Father of the Euro" and frequent advisor and speaker on currency issues in China, the U.S., Europe and Asia.  Founder of the Mundell International University of Entrepreneurship in Beijing, China.

Henry S. Tang  邓兆祥先生 Managing Partner of Carnegie Towers Group, former Chairman and Co-Founder, along with I.M. Pei and Yo-Yo Ma, of the Committee of 100, a group of prominent individuals dedicated to fostering greater American and Chinese cultural and economic understanding.

Charles P. Wang 王琣先生 President of Rosen-Wang Global Partners, LLP. Served as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the United Way of New York City, Chairman of the Chinese Community Relations Council, and on the Board of New York City Health Insurance Plan and the WNET-Channel 13 Tri-State Community Board. From 1990 to 1995, appointed by President George Bush as Vice Chairman of the U.S. Commission of Civil Rights. From 1989 to 1993, he was President of the China Institute in America, Inc.

Bailin Zheng 郑柏林先生 Former Director and General Manager of Bank of China, President of China General Chamber of Commerce-U.S.A and Senior Advisor to Citigroup in Hong Kong. Retired after 25 years experience with Bank of China as General Manager in U.S.A., Shanghai, Hong Kong and London.

Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Cultural Foundation

Maurice R. "Hank" Greenberg 格林伯格先生 has played a singular role in advancing a healthy and constructive relationship between the United States and China.  As a business leader and corporate legend, he has cultivated relations with China's leaders, advocated for opening the country's markets to greater foreign investment and encouraged its integration into the global community.  He also has generously contributed and supported numerous educational, cultural, healthcare, social and environmental causes around the world.
